The Caseiro House is the oldest building on the Quinta and is located next to the Chapel.The rooms are all on the first floor. Recently renovated and comfortably furnished, the Caseiro House has a cosy, rustic atmosphere.

From the house there are views of the magnificent gardens with the huge 150-year old palm trees and the cobbled village street. The small balcony is not too small for breakfast or candle-light dinners and commands wonderful views over the vineyards and the Eucalyptus forest.

Three twin bedrooms, a bathroom with a bath and WC which is ensuite from two of the bedrooms, another bathroom with an old-fashioned freestanding bathtub (with overhead shower); kitchen-diner with dishwasher and microwave; a spacious living room with an old wood-burning stove (no longer in use), storage room, shared use of courtyard and garden; shared use of large swimming pool (6m x 10m, 0.8m - 2m deep). Despite the stairs the house is very child-friendly.
